Hi Rachel. Yes, those are Jane's. She took them with her new camera. She's a good photographer and the new camera has really expanded the range of what she can do. I'm super-glad you liked them. Herakleitos, if you haven't encountered him before, is a Greek philosopher who lived during the century before Socrates (and Plato). That's why he and certain other important philosophers are called the "Pre-Socratics." What survives of his writing exists largely in fragments. Herakleitos is best known for espousing the philosophy of flux and change. He's the one who said "you can never step into the same river twice." Oh -- pizza time. Curtis
As I explained to Jane's friend Rachel (please see previous comment), Jane's always been a talented photographer (she has a lot of visual flair in general) and working with her improved equipment has already yielded good results.
