Love's dreaming, love's sleeping,
And when it wakes again
And when it wakes again
who knows
The company it's keeping?
I am dreaming, I am falling
And just before I hit the ground
I am dreaming, I am falling
And just before I hit the ground
I hear you calling.
There's an angel floating round
There's an angel floating round
my house.

Oh, I like that. And the images that go with it.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much. You may be familiar with Kirsty MacColl's songs already, but if not, you have a treat in store for you. She was a marvelous artist who unfortunately died much too young, but left a substantial body of work. Great singer, great songwriter, fascinating person. The Pictorial Photography In America series is freely available on the web through Project Gutenberg and these 1921 photos by two women I had never heard of until yesterday are really arresting. I know the Municipal Building in Manhattan quite well but the California photo is really arresting. Back to the salt mines, I guess. Curtis
