LONG TAIL

I am and have always been a worrier.  I’m told that’s a remediable fault, but I’m not sure.

I worry sometimes that I have seen the beginning and apparent ends of extended cycles, such as art movements, and that I perceive the pernicious effects of the so-called “long tail.”

I worry that in spite of everything good I know is happening now and might happen in the future, I can’t get out of my own worrying way.

Roy Lichtenstein: (1) Portrait of Ivan Karp/Portrait of Allan Kaprow (1961); (2) The Ring (1962); (3) In The Car (1963); (4) Forget It! Forget Me! (1962)
