    Baby fruit bats have been happy company in my imagination e'er since this first went up. You guys must be the envy (?) of the block.

    The bats at our house are happy, personable and keep to a schedule, i.e., there's a bat show just before sunset every evening. The one Jane calls Benjamin seems to have really honed in on us or, rather, her. You know how animals can be with children. We're hoping really to get to know them this summer.
