We lost Andy yesterday, surprisingly. We thought, probably
less surprisingly but unrealistically, that he would go on forever. If
quantity of virtue were the measure of longevity, he should have lived here in
body, mind, and soul forever. There was not an unkind, unintelligent,
uninteresting bone in his body. And very, very handsome.
It was quick, almost immediate; a spirit was with us and spirits
fly away to visit other spirits.
I know he will always visit us and be near to us, as near as every one of
my senses.
He was the strongest, happiest, and most generous person I ever
knew. You should meet him:
