They are wond...We are also year-round bird feeders. They are wonderful creatures and very important to us. The Ai Weiwei Sunflower Seed project and installation is impressive on a number of levels. I'm still unsure about the overall quality of his art, but I do believe he's a talented and brave man whose heart is in the right place (unlike, for instance, Damien Hirst). The Ralph Shikes book, by the way, is an extraordinary work of history and collection of images. I have a constant array of songbirds visiting me every day, including cardinals and blue jays, plus a plethora of finches. They've gone through 16 pounds of bird seed over the past week(mostly sunflower seeds, by the way). <br /><br />And my neighbor told me a month or so ago that that birds don't come to feeders in the warm weather, only in the winter. (He has obviously changed his mind about that, since he has brought out his own feeders --- perhaps as a result of seeing the vibrancy of life fluttering around my own feeders.)<br /><br />That is my initial and visceral response to the sunflower seed photos in this post.anitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11950712894174167863noreply@blogger.com
